About the Journal

Computational Discovery and Intelligent Systems (CDIS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the SIRG Publisher. The journal is devoted to advancing research at the intersection of computational intelligence, artificial intelligence, and intelligent system design. CDIS provides a scholarly platform for disseminating high-quality original research, comprehensive reviews, and application-oriented studies that promote discovery through computation and intelligent methodologies.

Open Access Policy and Licensing

CDIS operates under a fully open access model with no publication or processing charges. All published papers are immediately available online without restrictions, supporting equitable access to scientific knowledge worldwide. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain full copyright of their published articles. By submitting their manuscripts, authors grant CDIS the right of first publication while allowing reuse and distribution under the CC BY license. Authors are responsible for securing permission for any copyrighted content used within their manuscripts.

Peer Review Policy

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and scientific relevance. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two experts in the field, and decisions are based on the quality, clarity, and contribution to knowledge.

Archiving and Digital Preservation

CDIS is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of its published scholarly content. The journal is archived in trusted digital preservation systems, including LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), providing a secure and decentralized preservation infrastructure.

In addition, CDIS maintains multiple layers of digital preservation, including secure journal hosting and routine external backups to safeguard content against data loss.

The journal supports author self-archiving and permits the deposit of published articles in institutional repositories, subject-specific repositories, and personal or academic websites, in accordance with its open access policy. This enhances the visibility, accessibility, and impact of published research.

CDIS continuously reviews and updates its digital preservation practices to align with international standards and best practices in scholarly publishing.

Sponsorship and Funding Disclosure

The journal is sponsored and managed by the SIRG Publisher. CDIS does not receive external advertising or commercial sponsorship and does not charge authors or readers. The publication is sustained by institutional and editorial board support to promote open and ethical research dissemination.

History of the Journal
