About the Journal
The Journal of Sustainable Technologies and Innovation (JSTI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on technologies that enable sustainable development through engineering innovation, digital transformation, intelligent systems, and environmentally responsible solutions. Published by Scientific Innovation Research Group (SIRG) LLC on behalf of Beni-Suef Technological University. JSTI provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, innovators, industry practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate research that advances sustainable technologies with measurable environmental, industrial, economic, and societal impact.
The journal emphasizes practical technological innovations, scalable engineering solutions, and sustainable system design that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Research should demonstrate clear technological novelty together with a meaningful contribution to sustainability.
Manuscripts presenting purely theoretical developments without demonstrated sustainability relevance or practical technological significance are generally considered outside the journal's scope.
Researchers are welcome to submit papers to JSTI after preparing them according to the SIRG template and following the SIRG Publisher Ethics and Malpractice Statement. JSTI Journal follows the SIRG Publisher's peer-review process for all submitted papers. By submitting their paper to JSTI, authors confirm their agreement to SIRG Publisher terms, conditions, and publication ethics.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed A. Farghali received his B.Sc. in Chemistry (1995), M.Sc. (2001), Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and his Ph.D. (2006) from the Faculty of Science, Minia University, EGYPT. Currently, he is a full Professor of Materials Science and Nanotechnology at the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences, Beni-Suef University, and the Dean of the Egyptian-Korean Faculty for Energy and Industry Technologies, Beni-Suef Technological University (BTU).
Additionally, he was former head of materials science and nanotechnology Dept., vice-dean for research affairs and postgraduate studies and research and Dean of Faculty of Postgraduate Studies for Advanced Sciences (PSAS).
While he continued his work, he pioneered a special emphasis on applications of nanomaterials, bridging between physics, chemistry, environmental science, and technology. His work led to special teamwork, completing the research starting from fabrication to applications
He focused in particular on materials and Nanotechnology starting from 2004. Farghali was an innovator in nanomaterials, starting from material design, preparation with different techniques, characterization and technological applications. He spent more than 20 years working in many new nanomaterials and composites.
He has been involved with purchasing and building up all research facilities since its early planning stages, and remains an active user. He has served on and chaired several of the standing committees at Beni-Suef University. Prof.Farghali has over 237 refereed publications with more than 6722 citations and an h-index of 45, he supervised more than 130 M.Sc. and Ph.d. theses at Beni-Suef University and other Egyptian Universities.
